What to expect:

Prepping for Your First At-Home Vet Visit

We know your first mobile vet visit can feel a bit overwhelming! Here’s what to expect and how to prepare to make the experience smooth and comfortable for everyone:

  • Complete Your Paperwork – Fill out all necessary forms from our clinic in detail, including current medications, dietary needs, pet preferences, and any concerns or medical history you’re aware of.
  • Be Ready When We Arrive – Have your pet ready to go when our team pulls up. A trusted member of our Roadrunner family will come to greet yours!
  • Meet Our Mobile Clinic – You’re welcome to check out our van during the initial greeting and help your pet get settled. Due to limited space in the van, you’ll then wait in the comfort of your own home while we conduct the exam.
  • We’ll Bring Your Pet Back – A team member will return your pet to you following the exam or wellness visit (for surgical procedures, we’ll discuss the specific plan with you).
  • Review & Next Steps – Dr. French will go over treatment plans, schedule follow-up visits if needed, and handle payment during your visit. She’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.
